Hi Friends! My name is Victoria, I’m a Physiotherapy resident (halfway to becoming a licensed physiotherapist)!
Welcome to my new blog, Victory Physiotherapy.

My motto is: Overcoming challenges to health and mobility together.
What does physiotherapy mean to me?
*I believe physiotherapy is more than just exercises, or education - it’s about empowering people to feel confident in making positive changes for their health and mobility.
*I believe that physiotherapy is a way to connect with each other, because we come to realize what are our own physical, social, psychological challenges that influence how we move throughout life.
*Of course, I respect that everyone has their own philosophy, but this is what I have come to learn about myself, about my profession, and about my values. 💡
*What shaped my mind is the way that my one of my clinical instructors connected with a patient who was going through a really difficult time with their physical and social situation. My instructor (who was usually more logical, and less emotional person) was so moved to helping the patient access the adequate resources that our appointment ran longer usual to make sure we addressed each and every one of their concerns.
I've learned that at the core of physiotherapy, there’s an emotional connection that fuels these objective health care interactions.
*Drop a 🙌 if you’d like to join me in this incredible journey in physical therapy? 😉
